Removed the last two decimal points at the end of the version number, which were supposed to be what went up when I update only to add art and stuff, but i update this site so often that Im almost always changing something else with the site so there's no point.
Added an extra row of recent comics to the quadruple baka recent comics menu
Added placeholder images and redirecting HTML to fill the currently empty spaces on the recent page. NOTE TO SELF DELETE ONCE I HAVE 7 PAGES
undid those two last two things because it looked bad
Swapped the home tab and the comic tab in the order of the quadruple baka header
renamed the home tab of quadruple baka to "about"
Added "amy&bibi" artwork
Version 3.009.00
2026-05-12
Added "boba-flower" artwork
Adjusted margins on the "ol" html element across the site
Removed the border on the comic page image on the comic page webpages in Quadruple Baka's comic page webpages (there are two types of pages yes i know its confusing)
Rescaled the comic page image on the comic page webpage in... yknow what fuck it you know what im talking about, probably, either that or you dont care.
Entirely reworked the Episodes/Chapters/Comic/Pages webpage for Quadruple Baka to operate with the new format of the webcomic
Redesigned and reprogrammed the comic page system to use JAVASCRIPT YAAAAAAAAAAY. First bit of javascript on this site. This way if I ever need to redesign comic pages I dont have to go in and change html in every single one. In the future I'll probably adapt it even further so that each page doesnt need its own webpage, there will just be one page that can display pages from a database, but im not that proficient yet.
Removed links to the "Animations" page on Quadruple Baka because it's gonna be a while before its actually used for anything
Renamed the "illustrations" quadruple baka page to "artwork" so that it'd wrap more cleanly now that animations isnt there.
Upped the font size for all the unformatted text across the site by 1 pixel
Gave Quadruple Baka it's own style document
Scaled the Quadruple Baka Character images from 4000px to 1600px tall to save bandwidth and storage space.
Changed the description on the Quadruple Baka homepage
Switched the icon on all the Quadruple Baka pages to be the icon from my old Neru's Blog project. I plan to make an original one in the future.
added pages 1 and 2 to quadruple baka
Version 3.008.00
2026-04-27
Fixed a typo in the art description of "gumiteto." Literally the one bit of japanese on this entire website and I fucked it up.
Added "komorebixsusumi" artwork
Scaled the art page thumbnails from 800px to 600px
Added like 30% more jpeg compression to the art page thumbnails
reworked the watermarks on the art page thumbnails for most of the older artworks
added "itangenderbenders" artwork
Version 3.007.00
2026-04-20
Removed the thing were the description on the art page disappears when hovered over.
Added "tabetha-saber" artwork
Version 3.006.00
2026-03-31
Reworded some lore on Rose's character page (The Only Way Home)
Added "testpilotv" artwork from last year
deleted an old unused pfp file i made for the website in which the flower on my head had 10 petals, instead of it's normal 4, 5, or 8. It looked really unsettling.
Added "shrimpku" artwork, the image files for which have been in the site for months, i just forgot about them.
Added "anonymousm" and "rin&len" artworks from 2024, using images from version 2.0 of this website, so the watermarking style is a little different, but i'd need to boot out of linux and into windows to open the project files with CSP and change that, which i am too lazy to do at the moment.
shrunk the art description text size by 1px
booted out of linux and into windows to open the project files with CSP so i could get images with correct watermarks for the artworks: eatingpaint, charlie&vaggi, velvet, nova, eyes, tiffany, shesfine, chibiku, dianoga, ahsoka, miku, doctoraphra, eggshell, and dokaydokay. Still havent fixed the watermarks for anonymousm and rin&len, because im still lazy.
In summary of most of that: Added a bunch of older artwork back to the first time I drew miku.
Version 3.005.01
2026-03-30
I am now documenting every tiny change, including single artwork uploads. Artwork-only updates add to that really tiny second value thing with the second decimal point that doesnt actually make mathematical sense but ive seen other projects use it so im using it
Added "gumiteto" artwork
Added "magazine" artwork from a few months ago.
Added both artworks to the quadruple baka illustration page
Fixed the dates on "winter-shopping" artwork and "hakus-birthday-at-yi-xis" artwork, which were wrong.
removed the unlinked 'hyperfixation archive' page which was still on the server for some reason
Version 3.005
2026-03-26
Went through the entire style document and cleaned it up. The style document was the one part of the site I didn't completely erase when making version 3, and as a result it was still incredibley bodged. Like, the text color for the entire site is the same everywhere, and I set it as the default color, but for some reason I also re-set it in nearly every element, which didnt do anything. Also a ton of setting margins or padding to one value, then setting them to a different value 2 lines later.
Added proper comments to the style document so future me can tell what the fuck my confusing class names mean
Changed how project pages with custom styles (something I haven't utilized yet but will eventually) work, so that they apply a stylesheet on top of the default one, rather than replacing the entire thing with mostly identical CSS that only has a handful of differences.
Version 3.004
2026-03-02
Customized all the webpage titles and descriptions, which were previously a bit of a disaster since i create new pages by duplicating and modifying a preexisting webpage, and I have a tendancy to forget about the metadata.
Added an extra digit to the version numbers (so this one went from 3.04 to 3.004) after realizing that reaching 100 small updates before wanting to upgrade to version 4.0 is more likely that i previously thought.
Added a very meta note to the changelog after realizing how often i use the phrase "after realizing" in this changelog.
Version 3.003
2026-03-01
Removed the "foremost hyperfixation spotlight" section after realizing I dont want to have to update this website that much
Renamed the "comics" page to the "projects" page
Made the comics navigation menu (which is now used for all projects but is still called the comics menu) wrap, meaning there can be multiple rows of buttons when there are enough buttons, which there now are since I added "animations" to Quadruple Baka. I did that too but i make a point of not adding project updates to this changelog because then id have to add a new website version every time I upload art
mentally reframed how i think about the project menus. That sounds weird to put in the changelog, but basically now each project has it's own structure, rather than one standardized template thats the same for all of them, so updates to those pages will not be added to this changelog since i dont document changes to individual pieces of art.
Removed the rotation on the music icons because it was causing weird rendering issues
Added "overflow-y: scroll;" to all the pages, so there is now a scroll bar on all pages, even pages with no scroll, so the entire thing doesnt bump back and forth between different pages, which previously happened on certain browsers.
Reworked how the CSS of the music page is set up so that the page wrapping actually makes sense.
Added "bumpers" to the music page to shift the alignment of rows when the page wraps, so it looks less grid-like
Version 3.002
2026-02-23
Added the "foremost hyperfixation spotlight" section to the home page.
Added the hyperfixation archive page to save previous spotlights.
Removed the joke dnd statblock from the homepage to avoid clutter.
Version 3.001
2026-01-27
Added a discord button and a pronouns.cc button to the home and contact pages
Added this changelog
Changed the art page to display scaled down versions of the art as thumbnails, rather than the full sized files, allowing it to load way faster
Removed the discord buttons after choosing to delay the launch of the discord
Version 3.000
2026-01-03
Wiped the entire site and reprogrammed it from the ground up, keeping the rough layout of the site, but overhauling nearly all the details and adjusting the programming on the back end. Changes include, but are definetly not limited to:
Switched to using relative links, allowing the website to be hosted and edited on a local hard drive (Previously I was editing directly on the live version)
Changed the website icon from my pfp to my hair flower
Changed the outline width across the site to be 4px instead of 5.
Adjusted margin and padding in nearly every part of the site.
Changed the site background color from #214762 to #003d53
Changed the entire file organization system to be easier to work with
Added a banner to the home page
Added social buttons to the home page
Removed site summary on the home page
Added a dnd npc statblock to the home page
Rewrote the "using my stuff for your stuff" element on the home page
(Re)added the "commissioning me" note to the home page
Added the website version note to the home page
Fixed an issue specific to the home page where it didn't scale to mobile screens correctly
Rewrote the CSS on the art portfolio to allow it to sort artwork into a mosaic that isn't a perfect grid of squares
Un-cropped all the artwork, now that it doesn't have to be perfectly square
Removed the outlines on the art on the art page
Removed all the individual web pages that each piece of art used to have, and made the art page link directly to the image files instead
Added a short description and a date to each art icon on the art page, which show up when you hover over them
Removed the entire submenu system of the music page, replacing it with a lineup or original songs all on one page, similar to the art page, but with links to the music on other platforms, and an imbedded bandcamp play button
Replaced the doodle comics on the comic page with a setup for proper webcomics
Reworked the "series" comic submenus from a copy of the list on the main comic page to a mini-website of it's own, with a banner and a navigation menu to different tabs of the comic
Added the home and chapters tabs to the series submenu, and added construction notes for character and illustration pages, to be built in the future
Rewored the webpages that hold the actual comics from a blank grey box with an image in it and a back button thrown on awkwardly, to a template built for chapters with multiple pages and a section for a date and creative notes
